Magic Embroidery's team includes teachers with many years experience teaching beginners and know how to make it fun! Whether you choose to teach yourself using our products or join a Magic Embroidery School of Stitchery , your success and enjoyment is ensured as you learn this wonderful craft.

We have designed a comprehensive Training Course. There are 6 modules (levels) in the course. The first level teaches the basic stitches. The second level introduces elementary raised work. The third level builds on the raised work. The fourth level teaches the border stitches. The fifth level is 3 dimensional embroidery. The sixth level teaches stumpwork. You can go as far as you desire. Our step-by-step program is carefully worked out, building one skill on top of another and should be done in the correct order for the best results.

There is a Training Kit for each level which comes with a practice piece and a sampler. The practice piece allows you to master each stitch before you apply what you have just learned to the sampler. The samplers can be framed as a set and passed on as a family heirloom. Click here to view our samplers.

Magic Embroidery has a Complete Stitch Glossary and Training Video (3 hours) that have been developed to be used hand-in-hand with our Training Kits to teach you all the stitches you'll ever need to complete our kits.

Once you have completed the Trainer in your level, you can move on to the Trainer in the next level - or choose a kit from our beautiful range of Décor Embroidery Kits in that level, secure in the knowledge that you will know all the stitches.

The Magic Embroidery School of Stitchery is rolling out in South Africa at present and will be expanded to other countries in the near future. Teachers certified by Magic Embroidery will guide you through our training program in a relaxed 'Book-Club' type environment where you can unwind and make new friends.
