At Magic Embroidery, our mission is to bring a fresh, new sense of excitement to the traditional art of embroidery - to make it possible for you to develop a relaxing hobby that takes little space and can go with you anywhere.

We believe that embroidery is an art just like painting or drawing. Our professional artists and technical experts have created home décor hand embroidery kits, which will enhance any interior, whether your lifestyle is modern, traditional or ethnic. We want you to be proud of the skills that you have mastered.

We appreciate the fact that you are busy. Our designs have made the best use of your time so that you can embroider a stunning piece without taking a lifetime.

The Magic Embroidery School of Stitchery is rolling out in South Africa at present and will be expanded to other countries in the near future. Teachers are provided with all the necessary teaching aids and are certified by Magic Embroidery. You are bound to find a certified teacher in your area and, if not, perhaps you would like to consider setting up your own satellite school.

Our training program is real fun for beginners, experienced embroiderers and teachers. Our School of Stitchery teachers understand beginners! Make an exciting set of samplers worthy of framing and learn at the same time, using our Stitch Glossary and/or training video both of which are available from the teachers or from our on-line store. You too can become a really good embroiderer. We have made it easy for you to master the art of embroidery from basic to fancy stitches and many exciting techniques.

Experienced embroiderers can slot into the program at the higher levels where your skills will do you proud and you may wish to enhance any of our kits with your own creativity.

Our kits include the fabric, muslin backing, threads and beads - all of excellent quality, a colour picture and easy to follow instructions. Click here to see a sample of our instructions. You will need the Magic Embroidery Stitch Glossary, the Magic Embroidery Video, or the Magic Embroidery DVD, where we cover all of the stitches used in the program. In addition, the correct needles and hoop are essential tools of the trade, all of which are available from our on-line store or from your teacher.
